This upcoming year will mark the end of Lebron’s orginial contract since joining the league in 2003. His tenure with the Cleveland Cavaliers has been nothing short of legendary. Lebron standing six feet eight inches tall, weighing in at an impressive two-sixty-five. He is the specimen that has changed the game. Lebron’s pure freakish talent, finesse, 4.4 speed, 44″ vertical, strength, and overall size (I miss anything?) has made him into arguably the best player in the league. Lebron has lived up to and become just what sports illustrated predicted he would be:…”The Chosen One”. People forget how young he is and the company he is in (just to mention a couple: Kobe, Dwayne Wade). Some even go as far to compare him to the best player that ever played (Do I need to mention his name? I’ll give you a hint he just got inducted). The only major reason why he is separated from these athletes is his lack of a championship but please..we have not seen anything yet. So when the summer of 2010 comes and ESPN and every major sports outlet covers this story of: Where is Lebron going, remember he is twenty four and ambitious. Forget the fact that he wore a Yankees hat to a Cleveland baseball game and remember what New York represents to an athlete…money! Akron we’ll always be his roots and the place he keeps close to his heart, however this is a business and basketball is his career. So when New York throws first, a mega contract at him and then the New York market throws him even more then well see.

Everything in the world adapts to technology. In today’s classrooms on almost any level technology has made things easier but the fundamental techniques still remain. In the film “Vision of Today’s Students” questions are raised on if these techniques are still helping mold and form the future leaders of America. With cellphones, mobile computers, social networking, etc the classroom has changed dramatically. Most, call these possessions distractions. However, is the chalkboard still useful? Are expensive textbooks still necessary for students to buy? Are there better and more beneficial ways to educate America? Can these “distractions” be changed to benefit students in the classroom?

New York Giants Receiving Core

Coming into the season the New York Giants for once do not have many questions regarding their strength. Many even regard the Giants as favorites to win the super-bowl. Their defensive front is the best in the leauge and with the linebacking core healthy they will be a force to be reckoned with. Offensively, Eli is coming into his prime and the running game is tenacious. What scares many G-Men fans is the loss of fan favorite Amani Toomer and the now criminally indicted Plaxico Burress. With the loss of these threats the questions come into play. Can Hixon be a feared deep threat? Can Steve Smith and Sinorice Moss be consistent options for eli? Finally, can Mario Manningham and rookie Hakeem Nicks develop a benficial role in the offense? The Giants have a play action passing game for the most part and they have the talent in the previously mentioned players. Its going to be an exciting year and like all G-Men fans I am excited to see what they have for the most competitive division in the NFL.
